WebJun 17, 2013 · I have an uncoated Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 210mm f/4.5 mounted on a Compound shutter. Carl Zeiss Jena does not mean it has been built after WWII in the soviet sector. Jena was the place Zeiss made lenses years before WWI ! My tessar has a S/N 309018 which means it has been built in 1918 according to Zeiss archives.
